After organizing the Málaga Business Bootcamp since 2015, we wanted something new. In addition to internships that we organize in Granada, we also offer educational projects in Granada. We recognize the importance, in today’s globalizing world and extremely competitive job market, for any student to distinguish themselves and build their resume. That’s why we’re introducing the Granada Business Bootcamp. We aim to provide every student, even those for whom an (international) internship is not a part of their study program, with the opportunity to gain valuable experience abroad and learn Spanish: one of the world’s most spoken languages.

The first Granada Business Bootcamp took place in March 2024, and more to come!

About Granada

Granada is located in the southeastern region of Spain in the autonomous region of Andalusia. It is the capital of the province of Granada and is the fifth largest city in Andalusia after the cities of Seville, Málaga, and Córdoba (based on population).

Granada is an particularly nice city for students for several reasons. Firstly, Granada offers a vibrant and lively student atmosphere. With the University of Granada and other renowned educational institutions, the city attracts a large student population, fostering a vibrant community with numerous activities and events specifically tailored to students.

Moreover, Granada is a city rich in culture and history. With its Moorish heritage and historical landmarks such as the Alhambra, Granada provides students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in an environment steeped in artistic and architectural beauty. Exploring the narrow streets of the Albayzín district or enjoying traditional flamenco shows in the Sacromonte district are just a few of the cultural experiences students can partake in.

When you do an internship in Spain, you most likely also want to discover the gastronomy of Spain. The best way to do this is to visit local restaurants. In Granada there is a wide range of restaurants, from meat, fish to vegetarian dishes, which has always been part of the Andalusian cuisine. Did you know that Granada is famous for its free tapas?! Usually these are served automatically when you order a drink in a bar or restaurant, sometimes you can choose but often this is a standard tapa. This is a perfect way to discover Spanish cuisine, and who wouldn’t want a free tapa?

About the team

Officially the full team is based in Málaga. During the Granada Business Bootcamp, a few of our team members will be in Granada to guide and coach the students. Besides organising the projects we are present during the projects to translate or offer other kinds of support if needed.

We are used to thinking in opportunities, thinking outside the box and designing several tailor made projects based on the wishes and demands of all parties and every time we offer a unique project. Both for the students that we are receiving from abroad as for the local students. The team speaks the Spanish language, understands the Spanish culture and has an extensive network in the city.
